Margin, leverage and liquidation

Check whether the ticket or position shows Cross or Isolated. Cross uses the relevant shared trading account’s collateral. Isolated positions use a separate market account and collateral allocation. Available modes depend on market and account support.

Do not assume that adding funds to your wallet automatically increases the collateral for an isolated position. Follow the app’s explicit transfer/setup controls.

Check the unit before entering a size: a token quantity and a USDC order value are different. Leverage changes exposure relative to margin; it does not create wallet funds. Sizing can be rounded to the market’s permitted quantity increments.

A maximum-size estimate can change as prices, balances or open orders change. Review the final ticket rather than relying on an earlier slider position.

An estimated liquidation price is informational and can change with collateral, funding, positions and venue risk rules. An unavailable estimate is not evidence that a position cannot be liquidated. Keep enough available margin and use the position’s current risk information.

This handbook explains controls; it does not recommend a leverage level or trade.
